All the hard disk i sell is new and seal in static beg.
So, you will need to format it before use.
Do not panic or pengsan(in malay) if your hard disk did not show up in my computer.
Follow the step by step guide below to format your hard disk.
Step 1 :-
1)goto control panel, administrative tools, computer management.
2)u will see your screen as below.
3)click on disk management.
4)right click on the disk drive you just buy. Usually is Disk1. Unless you have more than 1 hard disk. The new hard disk will have a "no entry icon" as show in the picture below.
5)Right click on the correct disk and choose Initialize Disk as per attach print screen.
6)Now you will notice the "no entry icon" is remove from your new hard disk.
7)Right click again and choose new partition as per print screen.
8)Choose next "only", to finish format your hard disk.
